LITTLES PARTS OF THE DAY
Community: We start each day with Community Time. We take this time to engage in story time, music, and puppets as a group. This time of day helps our youngest students begin to observe and develop positive social interactions, explore music & movement, and start the day off in a positive way!
Solo Play / Tummy Time: During this time we attend to the individual needs of each child in solo play honing in on their developmental goals including gross motor skills, developing a love of reading, and cognitive development. We also spend time helping our Littles develop neck and trunk muscles with tummy time.
Outside Time: Spending time outdoors is very important to us and our Littles growing minds and bodies. Our play area for the Littles is complete with turf and sensory exploration stations that inspire children to safely move and explore in new ways. We also spend plenty of time outdoors using our strollers to take walks around campus.
Feeding: For our little we follow individualized feeding plans and teachers use meal times as special time to connect with each of our kiddos.
Core Learning: Core learning helps our Littles develop crucial language & communication skills, SEL skills, and cognitive ability & general knowledge. This includes activities like reading together, musical games, messy play, puppet games, mindful walking, hiding/finding objects, etc.
Sensory Play: Sensory play helps babies to learn more about the world around them and supports language development as they learn to respond to different stimuli. During this time, we offer a variety of different engaging activities to stimulate the senses and inspire curiosity.
